Notes: I have to mother Nagi, I’m just hardwired that way.
Farfarello moved the tinned new potatoes around his plate in the gravy before looking both Crawford and his Rosenkreuz instructor clear in the eye, dropping his knife and fork and saying “I'm not eating this.”
“It's full of necessary nutrition.” The instructor said through his wire framed glasses, “the potatoes are a great source of carbohydrate and fibre, the green beans are full of vitamin c, the beef is full of protein and natural fats that are needed for you to grow.”
Farfarello lent back in his chair and smiled as if to say “are you going to make me eat this?”
Crawford took off his glasses and took a deep breath, “they're not potatoes,” he said, “they're eyes, and that green stuff, it's the nerve endings, and it's actually human, but we didn't want to tell you in case you didn't want to eat it.”
Farfarello picked up his knife and fork and tucked in with gusto.
Crawford just wished he knew another way to get Farfarello to eat his vegetables.
