Hi. Sorry to impose, but I read the first twenty or so chapters of one of your stories here: http://www.oocities.com/taliasen1256/wk.html. I hadn't realized until I got to the end that it wasn't all there. I was enjoying it very much and would like to finish it, if you'll allow me. I checked the archive listed here and ff.net, but couldn't find the story on either site. Thanks.
which story is it, your link brings up the main story list from geocities(rip)
I've friended you so you should be able to trawl through the archives here if you go to my page directly with the lady with the black apple by clicking on my user name it will have a link list at the top of the page, one of the subsections there is weiss kreuz it should make it easier to find, I'm thinking you want white butterfly which is STILL ongoing but I might be wrong or it might be Cloths of Heaven which i deliberately removed after rewriting it as an original but if it is the one you're looking for, let me know and I'll arrange for the last chapters to be posted for you
Oh, yay--I wasn't expecting an answer so quickly. Thank you.
It was, as you guessed, White Butterfly. I'd planned to send feedback when I was thorugh, but since I'm here, I wanted to tell you how I admire your scene-setting skills. It's an interesting story, and I'm finding the politics intriguing; I'm looking forward to seeing how they twist and turn. The actual relationship might be somewhat off-putting in a more modern day setting, but you've stayed true to the age and atmosphere of the times in which you've set your story, and I think that's very brave. Even with the powerplays going on between the two protagonists, the reader can see the validity of the growing relationship. I was able to read up until the chapter where Crawford announces his wife's pregnancy, so I'm looking forward to seeing how his own personal politics affect the greater political world in which he moves.
I had actually been eyeing up Cloths of Heaven to read next--I much prefer long stories. Have you re-written it for publishing purposes? I would
