It's weird, after I herd that he had died, I found my copy of "The Siren's Of Titan", lying on my bedroom floor. The same weird thing happened about 15 years ago when Isaac Asimov died and copy of one of his books was lying on my floor. Wow, twice with guys who write science fiction. I know Vonegut hated being called that, but if it wasn't for the science fiction readers in the 1950's and 1960's he wouldn't have had a writing career and he did admitted to it.

I heard him on a Public Radio interview once, where he was asked why do young people like your writings, and he replied (I"m paraphrasing here),because I don't use semi-colons ever. I hate them.

I"m okay. I've been staying with Tommy and Mel at the Hurley House. My stepfather has the week off for some reason, and I just didn't want to be in the house with him. My mom said, I don't blame you.
