Kenken was not in a good mood today. First he woke up late and he must skipped his breakfast in order to attend the rehearsal on time. Then he nearly tripped on the stairs when he rushed into the dressing room. And the worse thing is that he couldn’t get his hair right for today. The back of his hair keep sticking out and couldn’t be smoothed, even when he applied hair wax on it.
He entered the room with a scowl on his beautiful face, made his fellow teammates frown in confusion. Even Ruito stopped on his track and didn’t dare to greet him. Date Kouji, being the closest one to him, went to approach him to ask what’s wrong. The Shishido actor just glared at him and mumbled about something he couldn’t catch at all.
“Um… Kenta-kun, is something wrong?” he asked carefully, didn’t want to make him angrier.
“Nothing, is just I’m having a bad day. And my hair keep sticking out and won’t listen to me.” he said while tugging into his hair, “ I’m start to think to cut it really short so I’ll have no problem to comb it anymore” he added.
“But your hair is already short Kenta-kun.”
“Nah, I’ll just cut it shorter then. It’s really annoying. “ The shorter man said stubbornly.
“Come. Let me help you with that. We still have time before the practice started.”
Kouji dragged him to the nearest dressing table before the other could even protest. He pushed him gently to sit in front of the mirror and started to apply some gel to his palm. He then rubbed it gently to Kenken’s hair and started to style it so the sticking out part will be gone.
“There. All set. I know you probably could do this on your own, but you’re too upset to come out with this. Now, shall we go to practice?” Kouji held a gentle smile and gave a small peck on both his cheek. “The others are waiting, and we will probably get scolded by Ueshima-sensei if we didn’t show up soon.”
The other man blushed at that and nodded, before he followed the taller man outside. Maybe today is not his bad day after all.
