He was just finished changing when his cell phone ring. He frowned a bit at that, it’s 11 o’clock already, and usually no one call him around this time. His frown increased when he see the caller ID. Sakurada Doori was written on his screen. He did not waste anymore time and pick it up immediately.
“Kei-chan? Am I disturbing you?” A soft voice was heard from the other side.
“No, of course not. Do you need something? What‘s wrong?” He asked in concerned. The younger boy usually won’t call him at this time, not to mention that something was off from the boy today. He could tell it by his voice. He had known the Amuse boy long enough to tell the difference.
“Can I spend a night at your place? I’m in front of you house actually.” He replied softly.
Minami Keisuke didn’t even bother to answer the question and rushed to his front door. He opened the door quickly and pulled the Ryoma’s actor inside his out. The boy’s hands were cold. He put his hands around the other’s and rubbed them slightly to warm it a bit. He told the boy to sit on his couch while he was going to make some hot tea for him. He returned a few minutes later and handed the mug to the boy, before he took a seat beside him.
“So… what happened?” He asked softly.
“I got a fight with my mom… “ He said in a small voice.
Minami raised an eyebrow but say nothing. He patted him on the back before he stood up.
“I think you should calm yourself first. I’ll call your house to tell them that you’re going to stay at my place tonight. You don’t want to make them worried right? I’ll be right back.” He said in a gentle tone.
The Frogs actor just nodded and sipped his tea slowly. The source of the fight is simple, and actually he knew that it was his fault, but somehow he didn’t like how his mother scolded him. His mother always treats him like a small child, and it annoyed him to no end. He knew he sometimes lack of responsibility, but she didn’t have to rub it to his face like that.
The thought of the fight made him upset, and he put the tea on the table before he curled himself in the couch and sulked. He could hear his Kei-chan’s voice from the other side of the room, but he choose to ignore it. There was no doubt that his mother would ask Kei-chan to convince him to go home. He stayed quiet even when Minami returned to the living room and sat beside him.
“Your mom was really worried, she said that you left without saying any word. But you can stay here, I already got you mom permission.”
“ Aa. Sorry to bother you. I went without thinking, and the next thing I realized is that I was standing in front of your door. I‘m very upset Kei-chan. Why she always treat me like a kid? I‘m not a kid anymore, I know that it was probably my fault, but still… why she had to say it like that? It irritate me a lot.”
A sudden hug startled him at first, but later he relaxed to the touch and closed his eyes. The older man just stay silent and let the smaller boy rested his head against his chest.
“ She scolded you about the grade right? She told me when I called her earlier… I know parents could be annoying at a time, but they only do it because they only want the best for us. So you should apologize to her later okay? She was very worried, she said that you left without you jacket and that she don’t want you to catch a cold.”
The older man explained to the younger man patiently while he held him closely. He knew that the boy was still annoyed and upset by the argument, so he tried to be very careful with his words. When he got no reply, he just placed a chaste kiss on the others head.
“Accompany me tomorrow?” He asked in a very soft tone.
“I will” he smiled a bit, “It’s getting late now, We should sleep… You go brush your teeth while I’m looking for a spare clothes for you.”
They was found curled up on Minami’s bed later, with Minami’s arm around Doori’s waist. The smaller boy snuggled against the his chest, and he just smiled gently and let him find a comfortable position on his bed. He was about to tell the other boy to go to sleep when Doori moved closer and kissed him right on the lips.
“Doori?!” He asked in surprised.
The boy just grinned naughtily and buried his head on Kei-chan’s chest, leaving the other man speechless for a moment. He had never expected that from him. He just shook his head and kissed his forehead as a reply when the other boy said good night to him.
