Okay, I need to vent, and seeing as I haven't updated in 15 weeks, it might as well be here, where the person I'm venting about has no way of finding out about it. (neither does anyone else who knows them, though, so it's not like I'm gossiping behind their back

That's more or less what this entry is about. <^_^>

Basically, someone I have to deal with on a weekly basis uses a bunch of intro-web memes as real life jokes. The cat pictures, All Your Base references, I'm in your (noun) (verb)ing your (plural noun), and more. And since no one but me knows the source material, and I have, if anything, too much exposure to it to find it funny any longer, the jokes are met with awkward silence if not open groaning. And yet he keeps trotting them out as if they're comedy gold.

Oh I've met people like that in some of my classes. I think they are underexposed to the internet, or else they'd be sick of that stuff too =/.
