The death of a Dream, Wizards

So yesterday the wife and I were out in Rockville for some family errands and early Valentines dinner. One of the stops we needed to make was to exchange some of Rory's dance shoes and I realized 'hey, Dream Wizards is literally right across the street; I haven't been there in ages - I should stop in and look around

We were in Rockville yesterday for Valentines day too! A couple months ago we debated checking out Dream Wizards now I don't think we will. I loved the old location too and I think I'll just stick with remembering it as it was.

Very not worth it. Plus, when I tried to meet with the owner to talk about Evil Hat's stuff, she scheduled the meeting with me at her store ... and then failed to be at the store that day. I'm double-done with them.

Laurel has always been... special about stuff like that. One summer when I was 16 she promised me a summer job working the counter; I was a long time customer and she'd known me for like 5 years at that point. I showed up towards the end of the school year to ask her about the details and such and she suddenly forgot she didn't need anyone at the counter, but I could wear a costume and walk the pike for her.

That was the summer I started working at Circuit City...
