This little exchange had me laughing out loud:
“How did you meet?”
“He approached me while I was eating lunch one day. I didn't even realize he was flirting with me, although in retrospect he was laying it on rather thick. I used to be a little naïve.”
Garak decided he should let that comment pass without remark.
Julian was so wonderfully insolent with the Intendant - that whole scene was delightful. All the interactions are great. Both Kiras, Sisko, Odo, even suspicious Miles. OK I'll stop blathering now, but I'm really enjoying this story.

Garak is so self-possessed and calculating!
He really is - but he gets thrown for a major loop later on. He's not as in control as he thinks he is. *pats him*
And I'm so glad you liked the scene with the Intendant! I had so much fun writing it; all of the Mirrorverse characters are a blast to write.
Thanks so much again for commenting!

I love the sexual tension and I'd like to see Julian have to continue to keep up the pretense of being Garak's concubine because that amuses me to no end! XDD
I'll be on the lookout for the next chapter of this!

Hee, it amuses me, too, and you'll definitely be seeing more of it. Thanks again for reading! :D

I actually read the first part back when it was posted but somehow missed the updates until now. Catching up now, sleep can wait. Priorities!

And yay, especially glad you like my interpretation of Gul Garak! He's deviated more from the Gul Garak in the show, but I'm glad the power-hungriness and bumbling are coming through (especially the bumbling - that's been tough since the story is from his POV and he thinks he's being quite clever. He's making some very poor decisions, though, which will come crashing in on his head later.)
