Poor Julian I feel so bad for him (which doesn't happen very often ha). Anyway, I'm so curious what they'll be up to now in the holosuit! Also Dukat made me laugh so much. :D

I really like your writing style, and I'm looking forward to more. :)

The Intendant is such a clever villian I look forward to seeing more of her.

Will Garak and Dukat grow to be friends? Because I can see that happening or I can see them grow into a relationship like Pete and Don have on the show Mad Men. I don't know if you watch the show but if you don't Pete looks up to Don as a mentor but at the same time is willing to stab him in the back to get ahead. I can reall see Garak as Don and Dukat as Pete.

I'm glad you liked the Intendant! Super-evil is always fun to write and man, is she evil.

I love Mad Men! There are some definite Don and Pete vibes going on there - that would be interesting to explore, but unfortunately, Dukat's going to fade into background after this chapter. Ahaha, this fic is already about twice as long as I thought it was going to be - Dukat's probably better off staying out of it anyway. :P

Have you seen the new season of Mad Men yet? I haven't had a chance to see it yet.

Me either, sadly. I don't have cable - I use Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus instead, and since I've given up torrenting, it's going to be awhile before I get to see it. It's bumming me out so much, but I can't really justify spending $80+ a month just to watch Mad Men, lol.

I'm so pleased that you inserted Dukat in the mirror universe. Given how evil he is in the Prime universe, it's always interesting to see what he'd be like in mirror. Loved how he toadied up to Garak, and what a treat for Garak to be the one in power over him!

Awesome chapter! You really evoked the effervescent danger of the Intendant.

I'm glad you liked it! :D I hadn't planned on including Dukat - he just sort of showed up on his own. I figured I'd keep him sort of similar to Prime Dukat - ambitious, smarmy, a lover of the ladiez - but just really bad at everything, instead of awesome.

I was sort of expecting a much darker story after reading the first chapter, but this has mostly been a lot of fun. I've been enjoying all the verbal sparring. (I like all kinds of stories, if things get darker that's fine too.) Mirror Dukat was a nice addition, Quark feels spot-on, and the Intendant is still gloriously deranged. I like that Julian hesitates with the Gul. They have great chemistry, he's probably inclined towards liking him because he's a Garak, but he's not his Garak.

I'm curious, does Major Kira know that Garak and Bashir are together in her universe? Is she horrified at the sight of Bashir and the Gul because it's an unpleasant surprise, or because she wouldn't approve of cheating?

Hee, I had no idea what genre to label this, because the premise is pretty dark, but there's a lot of humor in it, too. Glad you're enjoying it! :D It does get darker later on, once Garak's lies start catching up to him.

It's good to hear that you like how Julian and the Gul are interacting. I wanted to give them a lot of chemistry, but also make sure to portray that Julian had some reservations. He's being more trusting than he probably ought to, but at the same time, he is aware that this isn't his Garak ( ... )
