My absolute favorite piece of music in the entire world.

Well, it looks like I ended my bands, put college on hold, put myself further into debt, and generally uprooted my life for something that just wasn't worth it.

Hello world. My name is James Walker...and I'm the dumbest man alive.

There's something deeply satisfying about sitting in the middle of a crowded Student Union and blasting Masonna (noise artist Masao Yamazaki, not the material girl) as loud as I possibly can without blowing my speakers, all while retaining the same dry facial expression that I seem to perpetually wear.

Went to the grocery store. Only had a dollar and 20 cents. Got a can of beans. The checkout girl said it was $1.30. Automaton eyes behind that green smock. My finger nails dug into my palm. I live in a reverse zoo. I am in the cage and the animals are outside, all howling and flinging their shit at me. They all want to gawk and take their pictures, but they could never hack it inside the cage. It's too hot, too empty, too real. I look back at them and they turn away ( Read more... )

I hate myself...

I don't think I've ever missed anybody this much in my entire life.

And I'm trying so hard not to let it affect me, but it's such an odd combination of being filled with hope, and being powerless.

All I can do is to wait for Winter to arrive.
