I am ridiculously pleased with myself today!
I finally have all my and my fathers christmas presents and I am totally satisfied with my purchases and just know, that they will be well received.

it's a shame, really. because the person i like cooks so well (so much he almost became a chef had he not opted a different career!), i feel defeated as a woman T__T but i'll still try my best!!
ahhh... curry huh. i love curry. beef, chicken, veggie, fish, you name it, as long as it's curry, i'll eat it. ♥ well, as long as it's not Indian style. Indian curry is too spicy for me :p

and you're so right! cooking with friends is so much fun...especially, if it doesn't happen in your own kitchen, but the dorms one. ^^
oh, that sounds awesome! but maybe, you shouldn't feel so awed by is cooking skills and be really happy, that for once a man will work at the stove instead of the woman. in my family it's the same as in your situation. my mother can cook, but my father's so much better at the kind of stuff.
and maybe you could use your lack of skills in the cooking department as an excuse, so that he could teach you something?
*laughs* I especially like the Indian style ones, because the more spices, the better. I really like to eat hot food and it can't be too hot for me!

because I exactly know what you mean. I was so busy during the weekend and will be even more busy tomorrw (I have to decorate 3 christmas trees and tons of other stuff) and on the 24th. talk about a peacful christmas time...

I think we're suffering from the safe fate, I'm growing to hate Christmas shopping, specifically Xmas shopping with mother XD
But after 2 days of hell, it's all done... tomorrow starts the 'fun' of queueing around for food for the big lunch on Thursday.
Remind me why I love Christmas again? XD

I'm in love with the almond-cinnamon cookies, and they look so complicated to make! I also loved the dark ones (sorry, I'm on the bed with a cat on my feet and can't get the paper with all the names *blush*) and the decorated ones. All of them truthfully! XD
But I think I have a recipe for the coconut ones, I might need he rest though! ^^
Take your time tho, I don't want you to go crazy on those!
