I'm finding it more enjoyable and Christmas-like if I just sit back, don't expect much and just let it wash. My brother was getting worried that he didn't feel "Christmassy" and I told him to chill - there's a whole expectation in my house that Christmas is meant to 'feel' like something and everyone gets worked up if they don't get this intangible glow washing over them. They end up having a worse time because they're so bloody anxious about some indefinible feeling. It's weird, the pressure of Christmas.

It is unseasonably warm, I agree.

Merry Christmas....if you want to try and feel a bit more Christmassy try some cooking? I've just made apricot, Apple and prune and some sausagemeat stuffing...I feel much more Christmassy now!!!
