This was fantastic. Not only was it in character, it was incredibly sweet and offered a peek into the depth of the friendship between the two that we as fans hope there was.

It was truly well written and quite beautiful, at the same time heartbreaking because the reader gets the sense that these were the only gifts that Rorschach had probably ever received. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for allowing me to read it. :)

(And yeah, I'm pretty transparent. Who would have ever thought I'd use the same screen name everywhere XD )

Strangely enough, the thing that I might just love most about this is that Rorschach rolls with the whole "I DON'T KNOW WHEN YOUR BIRTHDAY IS SO HAVE ONE NOW!" thing. Doesn't correct him, doesn't call him stupid, just ... rolls with it ^-^
