My car is about to die. I was driving up north and half way through Saginaw it starts maintaining speed without my foot on the gas. And no I did not have the cruise on. really, after watching Al Gore's "an inconvenient truth", i couldn't care less about GM. i'm definitely in the same boat as you with my entire family, including myself, having worked for them too. GM's cars are shit compared to foreign cars. i've already started looking into Toyota too. Their Prius is insane. it gets 51 mpg on the highway and 60 in the city. it's the highest standard for hybrids right now. and with gas prices the way they are, and getting worse, electric is the way to go. for sure.

Yea, its tough. I guess we just have to look out for ourselves. I can't believe that the Prius gets 51 mpg. Most GM cars get only 20-30 mpg. I've been driving on E just to avoid filling up because of the $3.25 per gallon right now. I'll have to look into that car. I've heard so many good things about Toyota I might have to switch over to one.
