I went to the mall today just to look around and I was at White Barn Candle Company. I was looking at the different items because I love candles, especially the yummy scented ones. As far as the friend thing goes, I'd pay attention to your gut. I don't tend to give up on people until they stomp on me sometimes...believing in others has its pluses and minuses. But I think that if calling her and making plans and her cancelling becomes more hurtful than fun, that's when I'd stop bothering to call her. If it's hurting you...yeah...that's when I'd give up. OR you could confront her on it if it continues. You could say how much you enjoy her company but have noticed this pattern and were wondering if it had something to do with her avoiding you. It could simply be that her RL is pretty busy! *hugs you*

LOL, actually it makes me think about the Buffy ep. where the guy was looking to buy the slug candle...lol I don't think mashed potatoes would get the girl to sleep with him either! :p
And about my friend...I don't want to give up on her but I don't want to become a nuisance. I suppose I'll keep trying for a little longer, but if things never pan out, the ball will have to be her court. I don't wanna be a stalker! lol

And I'm not feeling that you're being blown off. As the easiest place to blow you off would be at work b/c it's so simple to say that she is too busy or needs to do something for her boss or something of the like. She seems ot have gone out of her way to hang out but maybe things are going on outside of work with her fam or friends or such and she's just been having a hard couple of weeks. I don't think you are coming off needy at all if you call again, even just to chat, until you guys can figure out a time. If she tries avoiding you altogether, that's more of a sign.

It's awesome...if you like the smell of potato ;) If you have a White Barn Candle company near you, it's worth the trip just to behold the concept...lol
And thanks for the advice about my friend! I've decided to keep trying for awhile and see what happens. She does have alot of stuff going on right now, so maybe she's just been really busy? I just worried I was being too pushy, you know?
