Hey there ~ I've been meaning to say hello in your journal for a bit, but you know how easy it is to get distracted. ;-)
Anyway, I'm excited for you and your recent move to Amherst. I'm sad that the yoga class turnout has been less than expected. But!, I think the more classes you give, the more people will come after they hear about how awesome you are! :) I'd come if I lived in the area. ;-)
I didn't know you were going vegan. . . not that you were really that far from it or anything, but you know. . . J and I have considered going Vegan for awhile. Maybe one of these days it'll happen. I've already cut out red meat and eat Boca soy meat in place of it. I also enjoy the Morningstar Farms soy sausage. . . mmmmm. I just don't know if I could cut out milk, cheese, and eggs, although I know that not all Vegans do that. My brother, Adam and his wife, Kelly, are vegans but they still eat milk, cheese, eggs, and seafood too.
hey sweetie..."vegan" means someone who has cut that stuff out...if you still eat animal products, it's vegetarian. silly technical labels. if you and justin to decide to cut out that stuff let me know, and i can help you figure out how to get in protein, as it's elusive, especially when you are first starting on the diet. i feel so good eating well for myself, though. it feels natural and morally right blah blah blah. if i didn't feel good and agree with the moral stuff, it would be too hard. it's not for everyone, that's for sure!
I wish I were in Amherst to attend your yoga class. I didn't see your class on the website, so I assume it's a private deal. Or are you allowed to advertise?
