Eh, Squee

So, as of late, I have been grumpy, annoyed, and fairly...intolerable?  Yes?

I have decided to change my general attitude towards life.  As this will take more work than Japanese($57 spent on learning materials!), small steps must be taken.  Despite this, I will change and (hopefully) for the better.  So, maybe you lot would like to know why.

It's ( Read more... )

grumpy, squee, optimism, school, changes, laura

Few people EVER - and almost nobody so wee as you - realize that you have to make the *decision* to be happy. The world's got plenty of good in it. :)

Also - Sugar Baby?! Japan has rotted your brain?

...but it is hilarious. Also, strangely compelling.

Yay! I'm wise without realizing it! I suppose this is what happens when Laura is left to fend for herself. When she's left to her thoughts...that's a completely different matter.

Just hold on to that 'working to be happy' thing. It tends to go out the window once something bad happens, or you've been let down.

Deciding to be a generally happy person is actual work. Especially if you're bright. (So you will have to work hard.)

Oh, also. Meant to ask you a question. D'you know which DEs were staying at Malfoy Manor in the seventh book?

Well, the books doesn't make it easy and just come right out and say it, sadly. But, I'm guessing it's a parallel to The Order's Headquarters. The Malfoys, Lestranges, and Voldemort were definitely there. I'm also guessing Wormtail stayed, being a "dead" man and all. Most of the others probably came and went, for instance, Yaxley and maybe Dolohov. These are just guesses though. The Lexicon had nothing that I could see, but that was just a quick look while in computer class. Hope this helped!

Thanks. I'm back on the sequel to SoS, and after pushing through some mire for awhile, it's really moving again. The conversations between canon!Snape and SoS!Draco are really fascinating to write... I'm enjoying it.

The pair are heading towards the Manor now, so I need to know who was there. Wasn't Fenrir Greyback around? I'm thinking back to the scene with the trio at the Manor, when Draco helps them.

(Maybe I should stop being so lazy and look!)

Fenrir was a "Snatcher", I think the term was. He was a werewolf and the Malfoys OR Voldemort wouldn't keep him around. The only reason Greyback was in that scene was because he and someone else (that detail is escaping me at the moment) caught the trio as well as Dean. Poor Dean. :(

Anyway, I'll keep working at the whole happiness thing. Wish you'd been at graduation, but it's understandable.
