Disclaimer: I have the attention span of a gnat lately, so anything I'm not super into may just be a function of my brain and not a statement on its quality.
Still reading The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia, by Ursula K. Le Guin. I got sidetracked by deciding to go read some stuff on writing (or actually On Writing, by Stephen King, which I re-read every couple years) and A Blade So Black, by L. L. McKinney, both of which I'm enjoying.
One of the writing sessions at the conference I went to a couple weeks ago has a weekly brown-bag writing session, and I went this week. I produced some writing that I didn't love, but it was a chance to just pause and write. May do it every week, even though it means shuffling an hour of work time because it happens in the middle of my workday.
Still playing Lily's Garden.
Also a classic logic puzzle game. Nothing exciting, just something to keep the brain cells working without too much angst.
Since I added Ashley McBryde and Miranda Lambert to my YouTube Music, I get served up a lot more country music, which is A-OK with me.
Not much this week. The new episode of Great British Bak(e-Off/ing Show); an episode or two of The Munsters; a fair bit of YouTube.
