This is the first week I've felt mostly functional since mom died. Not doing a ton of reading/watching/etc., but more than I was.
Finished:
The Dispossessed: An Ambiguous Utopia, by Ursula K. Le Guin. I actually had finished it before last week's post, but didn't remember that I had. The ending wasn't memorable, I guess? *shrug*
A Blade So Black, by L. L. McKinney, which was a fun romp. Normally, I'm a little annoyed by books that are obvious first-part-of-a-series and don't wrap up the story they're on, but it's a very LOTR tactic, and this is a very LOTR series (at least in terms of the Hero's Journey, I guess), so I will continue reading.
Still reading: On Writing, by Stephen King, which I re-read every couple years)
Went to the brown-bag writing session again. Not sure I will continue. It's in the middle of my workday, and that's kind of stressful for me. Plus, I have performance anxiety about reading my work right now (I don't usually).
It's
NaNoWriMo and I'm about 7,000 words into a mystery novel that I'm not sure I'm going to like, but it's not terrible. Some of my novels are truly terrible. I outlined this one a bit, using some of

jae's method and some sample outlines from the web. Plotting is my weak point. I don't think like a storyteller.
Still playing Lily's Garden. If history is any indication, I will mostly just play that for years until I'm tired of it. It was like that with Two Dots before this.
I very much enjoy my YouTube Music supermix, and that's what I usually select. Two songs it keeps serving me, and I'm happy about it, are both by Ashley McBryde: One Night Standards, and A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega
The newish animated Addams Family movie, which was... fine? The new episode of Great British Bak(e-Off/ing Show); an episode or two of The Munsters; a fair bit of YouTube, but nothing political.
