Spooky lift

After tea with some friends at Wheelock Place, we walked back to our car at Liat Towers. The lift ride at Liat Towers was rather spooky. I got in, tried to press '7' but it didn't work. Then hub's friend also tried but it didn't work either. Strangely, the number '5' lit up by itself and the lift started moving up. I saw the level indicator display

We all (the 4 of us) felt that the lift was really strange!

think cos recently keep raining, the old lift a bit short circuited. I remember heavy rains always cause such prbs, like cross line, disconnected lines, very slow retarded lifts etc.. hehehehe...

possibly .... the lift at my old place also just broke down again recently!

I was taking lifts the past two days, also acted cranky and wierd. One was the "new" one at Cityhall mrt!

Don't think so. The lift repair man usually takes a looong time to come repair it. If there's someone, they usually respond faster right? I certainly hope so, just in case I get trapped in there!

Walk up 7 floors??? If the lift was not functioning, I'd arrow my hubby to walk up then pick me up when he drives down. I'm so lazy! :ppp

something absolutely not related...
i saw you in disneyland HK..didnt call you coz you and hub and children were like rushing off somewhere, while i was sitting by the main street waiting for the parade to start.

On Monday or Tuesday? Monday was our first day there so if you were already seated waiting for the parade, prob we were rushing to sit for the parade too. If Tues, we were leaving Disney for Causeway Bay so gotta chop chop finish up. Aiyah, you should have said hello. I would've been pleasantly surprised! :) It was so hot at Disney hor? Even though it was so cloudy, we all ended up with a tan!

it was 12 so it was tuesday...
i wanted to say hi...but you were walking quite fast and i was a distance away..

hot...HK was very hot...and jon was burning (fever) everyday he was there ...

we left wednesday nite...

Poor boy. I hope he still managed to enjoy Disney.

I remember on 12/6, it poured quite heavily for about 30 mins. Thank goodness it cleared up after that.
