The gathering comprised a deliciously healing electic bunch; 4evr_feline & LJ'less D., bahktimajik, siouxiequeue, sidhefire, suddenlynaked, and numerous LJ'less others.
It was LJ'less M’s 50th birthday celebration this weekend. I made the reservations last April and this was the first available timeframe available for this year at that time. Apparently, this place is hightly desirable!

Yes, we had much meatcake.
I didn't get any pictures of it during it's debut, but I know others got pics of it, so I'll beg photos of it's creation.... I'll update later with what we did with it tonight to make it more consumable....
I crafted this convection because M. is an unapologetic (passionate even) carnivore and the idea of 4 3/4" salami slices, cream cheese, and Cheeze Whiz, with pastel sparkly candles that spit sparks, was one of those unfulfilled fantasies I’ve had (albeit, only once or twice); should this niche be possibly be added as a question to the Purity Test? He loved it. (um, wiggled with desire????)
Its surface integrity didn't lend itself well to slicing. (much splootage, slippage, and firm/squishy layers....making the sharp knife's slicing an undesirably unknown outcome) Of course, that may also have been an inbuilt caution layer (within myself?) brought on by un-LJ-BFF (of M.) who loves to layer-on the tequilla shots. Hrm.
Good thing there was tasty carrot cake, apple crisp, and s'mores there for the the lone spare belly spaces~ Carb-conconsious folk had to taste and chew carefully, but M. wanted it this way.
