Great news is, last night, the squirrel mama found the babies we'd placed in a basket with their nest, in the other cedar tree stand in our yard! I didn't find out about it until later today....seems all the neighbors were on squirrel watch to make sure the crows didn't get too aggressive....there's been a small gang of crows (younger ones, 4) ( ( Read more... )

Normally, I'm all about not handling babies or nests if found. BUT....They were hidden from view in a tree being brought down and when found, removed without injury with the nest still mostly intact. I'm pleased they're ok, or at least have been reclaimed by mama.

I can relate to squirrels and their determination, even when it comes to odds over our shared domain (aka, gardens). :)

I've been quitting coffee & ulesegisa is quitting smoking.. we've been taking L-glutamine on recommendation from my Mom.. 1 tablet 2x daily .. it has really helped both of us with the whole craving thing & it started helping within a day...

Addictions to legal substances seems on some level to be sooooo wussy.

Good skills to your (and yours') journey to reduce (even the socity-accepted) nicotine and caffiene reliance!

I recently planted with strict sprouting and environment instructions a variety of the tabbaco plant. We'll see. By the time it germinates (if it does), and grows, with the proper light and such, who knows? :)
