I am sick and tired of ebay sellers who refuse to leave me feedback until I have left some for them. As far as I'm concerned, my part of the bargain is over when they have my money. I should then receive my feedback ( Read more... )

I've noticed that as well, and it shits me too. :P Especially as I've only got 20 feedback! I always leave MY feedback for people within 24 hours. Even if you're an uber-busy seller, it doesn't take long to type "Great buyer, A++!", does it? >_

Exactly! *grumble* Perhaps I'll actually ask the next seller who does that to me why they do it - I don't understand the mentality behind it!

I know how you feel, as I have up to 47 now and need 3 more for that magical number 50.

amen to all of the above!!

we prefer to spend our time on quality customer service, rather than spending hours leaving feedback for people

err...isnt leaving the feedback part of good customer service?!

I would have thought, actual postage of goods aside, the feedback WAS the customer service!
I did ask them a question about the sizing of shoes, and had to ask it two or three times before I got a response. The shoes did fit in the end, but if they're so into great customer service and you still need to email them that many times... forget it.
Don't buy from them! If I find a seller with the same nice shoes, I'll let you know. At least solem8x was friendly and helpful!

indeed!

i cant believe you had to email them 3 times to get a response! shows how much they ir customers *snort*
i shan't be buying from them! the thing they don realise is that every time they trat a customer like shit, there going to tell their friends & lose potential business. how can that be good for anyone? its not hard to be civil & write a short nice feedback note!

Rather concentrate on customer service than leaving feedback? Um...what exactly do they think customer service is?

As a seller, I always leave feedback when I have the money. I figure it's the 'right' thing to do.

Me too! Once the payment has cleared in my account, I leave my feedback. I can't exactly see how it would benefit me or the buyer if I wait until they get my item!
