Egypt! Jordan! Morocco! Oh, my!

So I’m going to Egypt, Jordan and Morocco (plus Dubai for 2days) at the end of the year for a month. It’s going to cost about $10,000 which makes my eyes bug. My parents are going to lend me $2-3000, I have about $4000 and I’m working at a resturant.

Is this tour being organized through your university? It seems a bit pricey, but travel in North Africa these days calls for a solid tour company, especially if you're a young woman.

I'm not a job-snob, so the waitressing gig sounds very reasonable to me, but you really need to consider ways to increase your income $2,500 a month for the next two months, and the only start-up jobs I can think of that pay that rate (unless you want to work as a stripper) are accounts executives which is a fancy name for a person who sells things like advertising.

No, the tours aren't through the uni. It's through a few tour companies (we're going on three). By themselves, each tour is quite cheap but together, it gets pricey. Both the plane tickets (including internal flights), and the tours (with extra accommodation) come out to about four grand each. Then its spending money ( ... )

OMG! That's amazing!!! Ok, so the price is slightly mind boggling, but I bet the experience is going to be absolutely fabulous. I would love to go to Egypt...

I'm excited!! I've always wanted to go to Egypt. I can't wait. We're booking this friday and even that is thrilling. XD

The price tag itself isn't the issue but when it's due.I've managed to work it out with my parents and the girl I'm going with now though, so it's looking good. :)

Gah! This is probably too late (darned internet) but make sure you book it correctly! All the right info and everything. It was a crazy ride for me when I had to do it.
