Hehehe, he's managed to regress a (relatively) sane, normal, almost-30 year old woman into a squeeing 14 year old fangirl in one easy step. It's totally ridiculous! At least I managed to hold the squee in until the tour bus drove away, so he only saw cool, collected Tina. Not shaking-like-a-leaf Tina!!
We're not quite firing on all cylinders yet, but hoping that by the end of the month we'll be much better and can go out for a meal for Richard's birthday and kind of make up for missing Christmas that way. This time last year everyone was poorly too, if I remember!!
Welcome back! Sorry to hear the holidays were a downer. I hope you're both completely better by now?
But that show must've helped so much , hee! I knew he was adorable and ridiculously nice to his fans, I just knew it. Thanks for giving me the ability to live through you vicariously :D.
Hey! Unfortunately we're both still suffering, poor Richard sounds like he's coughing up a lung most of the time, and I've now come down with yet another bug that's making me feel really sick all the time. It's just one thing after another =(
But at least I felt well for the show, it was an absolutely brilliant night. My sisters had already met the guys 3 years ago (they flew to England for one of the live shows but I couldn't go) and back then the guys were coming out after the shows and meeting the fans, so they'd already experienced what it's like to touch Noel, but I missed out. I thought I'd never get to meet any of them. I figured getting that video of them leaving the Dublin show was as close as I was going to get!
It was a great night anyway, but Noel just made it perfect [/fangirl]
ZOMG a shout-out in the journal! Happy New Year, darlin'! And a big "feel better" blown kiss to everybody over there. *special wave to Richard* Sounds like you all caught everything we just managed to dodge.
But the best part is reading your real-life stories. They're almost better than ... well, I think this says a lot: "That description was almost on par with slash fiction." :D
although this "I clapped so hard during the show that I completely buggered up the ring finger on my right hand, it turned purple and swelled up and I couldn't bend it for a while! I actually thought I might have chipped the bone or something, but as soon as the swelling went down a bit I was able to move it, so figured it was OK. Still bloody painful though!" is so not okay for a genius writer. (Didn't we already have a version of this episode late last year?) ♥

I'm ashamed to say I have no clue who the Mighty Boosh are, but I'm glad you had fun. :3
