I finally got a few photos uploaded from my birthday shenanigans on Saturday night, and also one of the cakes from the joint party on Sunday. *rofl* Yes, I'm afraid it's rather subtle. And the colors are dim.

The sundae is high drama, but those cakes just look AWESOME.

That really looks like the way to have birthday shenanigans.

To keep party atmosphere continuing, you have cheery notes/pics in your gmail box. Off to light candles/fight flu outbreak -- we have cases, but everyone is recovering so far -- to keep it from spreading over there where you all are (you may want to light a candle or two for the boys in Barca; there have been cases reported in Spain and I'm sure the tournament was a full house). We are trying very hard.

Also, you MUST take care of yourself as we will need to see post-convention pics once you return from the Doctor Who convention. :D

I'm a couple of chapters into it so far, it's pretty interesting but the writing isn't EXACTLY going to set the word alight, and there are some terrible typos, lol. The worst one I've found so far is 'he stared embarrassing in the face'.

Looks like a great time was had by all. Happy late 30th birthday! That's an amazing looking cake. Especially the one that says '70', ahem :p.

Hahaha, the '70' cake is my Aunt's, we were having a joint party. Either that or my sister was being surreptitiously mean about me!

My sister and I are going to 'Vortex', which is a Whoniverse convention in Belfast on May 3rd. It's in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's hospice. Hopefully Gareth David Lloyd will be there (I *heart* him so much)
