So, Rafa's out of the French open, the first time he's ever lost there. It's a little shocking, and upsetting, especially as Rafa never really seemed to feel comfortable out there today and certainly wasn't playing anywhere near his best. I kinda felt from the start that today was going to be his last day, unfortunately. It's horrible enough for ( Read more... )

Too much to comprehend.

Yeah, Sod has surpassed Tipsydick on my hate list, and I didn't think that was possible.

My love for Rafa grows and grows. And Roger's his favourite. ♥

And Roger has avenged him. And made history and completed his Career Grand Slam.

Roger's mom is crying. I'm sure she won't mind if we join her.

I'm so thrilled for Roger, really I am. Although that moment with the guy storming the court terrified me, I thought for a horrible few seconds that it was going to be another Monica Seles.

Thought that too. Freaked me right out.
Apparently didn't freak Roger out, though. Did you see the part of his post-match presser where he addressed it? He was like "I just wanted to get through the match."
*dies*

This "stalker" has apparently pulled this type of stunt @ previous tournaments and is supposed to be "harmless."
I bet all the RG security except the one who tackled him gets replaced, though.

Yeah, I just read that apparently he's some sort of serial pitch invader. What an absolute tool.

I didn't get to see any of Roger's post match interviews, I just saw up to the trophy ceremony. I do think that Roger was a little rattled by it though no matter what he claims, at least initially. It seemed to take him a game to find his rhythm again... but who can blame him?

Rafa and Fed are such excellent ambassadors for their sport. I was so chuffed for Fed when he won and I loved it when he introduced us Facebook fans to his 'new friend' (the Musketeer Cup - is that the correct translation?).

I LOVE Roger's little videos, he's so cute and dorky in them! *hearts*

I'm absolutely thrilled for Roger, I wanted him to get his career slam so bad. Sad that it also meant Rafa wasn't there and winning his fifth, but you can't have both.
