But I'm very thankful that it's the hypermobility type of EDS, as there are also other types and some of them are much more deadly, especially the vascular type. So if I have to have it, it's the best one to have. =)
Yes.
(Did you get my last email about the cardiac thing?)
Oh, and I managed to dislocate my toe when turning over in bed the other night. That was fun. Put it back in myself though, lol. Rafa would be proud, I think. :-)
OK, I'm not actually here to talk about the pudding incident, but for those of you who know what that means... *wiggle jiggle* Okay, inquiring minds want to know ...
Hehehe, last question first, it's from a TV show called Supernatural. I expect to be shouting PUDDING at the top of my voice for weeks to come. I don't technically have the correct anatomy to wiggle though, but that won't stop me.
I did get your email, thank you! I shall definitely be having a good chat with the cardiologist anyway, see what he says, and then to the neurologist too, whoever that turns out to be. Hopefully won't have to wait too long to see those guys. Sorry I haven't been around much, things have been pretty kerrazy since I got back. =) Have managed to catch Rafa's games though! Although have only seen a little of Roger =(
Ah, SPN. I know you all know things the rest of us don't. :-)
Sorry I haven't been around much, things have been pretty kerrazy since I got back. I would say!

Mmm, interesting interview indeed. I find a lot of his outlook/persona, whatever, to be quite different these days. Not necessarily a bad thing, though. He's still Rafa.
I'll be getting two separate referrals to the cardiologist and the neurologist from my GP... at least I hope I will, I'm already on the list for cardiology, but I have to see the GP on Monday to asked to be referred to Neurology, I'll be going to Belfast for that as there's a neuro there who works with autonomic dysfunction but he's not a specialist in it (with a particular interest in EDS), unlike Professor M in London that Professor G wanted me to see.
I can tell you, I've been googling A LOT since I got home, lol. But it has explained so many things that have happened to me throughout my life and have never known why, as I have had this condition since birth and have had some trouble all my life from it, it's just that it has really deteriorated in the past 3 years or so.
The way I see it, it's Dean once again failing to engage his brain, you know? He's gone for a stereotypical, made-for-TV-movie version of what he deems as 'crazy'.
It's definitely important to keep questioning a diagnosis until you're completely happy that you've been given the right one. I could have sat back and accepted the joint hypermobility syndrome diagnosis but I felt that there was something more there, more questions that needed to be answered. I'm still fighting now to see the specialists that Professor G wants me to see.

And oh- that was... quite a list, but I totally agree with you, finally KNOWING is so much better than not knowing. And it is good getting a diagnose.
I did not understand all of the words and diagnosis you mentioned, but I do know how to google... I shall read up some now!
I wish you all the best! Crossing my fingers for you!
I need a pudding-icon!

It's probably why I have CFS as well.
