I wrote another practice exam on Sunday and scored 19/30, having answered 21 questions.  Time is still obviously a major problem, however,  of the 9 i didn't answer, 6 were because I didn't know how ( Read more... )

Where did the doctor get his degree? U of Turks and Caicos? If there is an issue, there is an issue, and it can be medically addressed by the correct professional. In the mean time, the doc should have shared his/her concerns, treated you with the proper meds for the meantime and sent you back to your primary doc for a referral to the correct specialist. Sounds like you get an incompetent ass.

There are many, *many* reasons for anxiety attacks, and many of those are purely genetic and wholly treatable with daily, non-debilitating meds.

Oh, don't get me wrong, he was very nice, sympathetic, and everything. Prescribed some tranqs to calm me down (but I won't take them), and told me to see my doctor, and mentioned a mood disorder clinic in Hamilton I could consider going to, but I just really didn't want to hear that it was all in my head.

It just adds to the stress. :(
