Fun chapter! I love how Rodney gets flustered by River and tries to ignore her. You can't always ignore her, though!

that's something i'm hoping to continually address. that River is not going away, and she is, essentially, to him, an embodiment of guilt. the consequences of his actions following him around and not letting him forget what he did. and he can't really move on until he deals with it. he's done the "pretend there's nothing wrong" and the "anger" stages, and i figure this is part of the second round of "denial"...does that make sense at all? haha.

haha i'm workin' on it :) i just have no idea where it's going, so i'm kinda at the whim of whatever makes me write it...i think maybe rewatching SGA and Firefly might help...get back to ya on that ^^

That was really good. River going around Atlantis hearing music and her interaction with John. I really liked it! Can't wait for more.

the john thing just kinda...happened. i'm like "okay, so what if she's hearing Atlantis" (already suggested by several of the other writers), then who else would she think to "commune" with? john has the strongest gene, and carson's got it a little bit, but we've seen very little of anyone else with any significant gene-strength except to be mentioned in passing. i don't know if she'd pick up on it from Rodney because his is artificial...but i think i like if her and John have more interaction. he's the chill that Simon needs to read up on.

oh i didn't start it, azarsuerte did. have you read her seed-story? it's really wonderful. just hafta skip back a few entries.

it's a great crossover to explore because it seems to make sense in a way i think few crossovers do.

and i'm glad you're enjoying it. i'm trying to work on a longer chapter now, and will hopefully get it wrapped up once i'm done with my last essay...
