Very true for me. I'm an optomist by nature and it serves me pretty well overall. Sometimes I'm disappointed, true. Not usually, though.
I have my skeptical moments too. It really depends on what it is. About people, I'm positive, even though it bites me in the ass sometimes. About 'urban legends' or such, I tend to be more skeptical.... But not negative, exactly, just curious about what's accurate or not.
I can't imagine living as a cynic, believing the worst about people and situations automatically. It seems like a sad, bitter, depressing way to exist.
True and false. I believe that such is the default nature of things - or should be. In my case, it's gettting that way, but *not* easily. It does get easier though. :)
