I was thinking that if it didn't that it should. it was too close to 50/50 for such a monumental decision to be based on a simple majority.

yeah its not supposed to be a majority decision in order to take away a minority rights...

I also liked the awe of some of the articles that a large portion of minorities voted against civil rights...

Well considering its going to the same supreme court of california that recognized gay marraige rights in the first place....
