A question I am quite nervous about answering...

I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out soon... I don't exactly know how soon "soon" is... but soon. THAT, I don't particularly care much about. I've had plenty of stuff done to my teeth. Not a bit of it has been pleasant, but I've been fine after. Hell, last time I could HEAR them sawing my gums. I didn't freak out until I saw my own blood splatter ( Read more... )

the intravenous method was quite good when mine were pulled. You sleep the whole time, don't feel a thing, and are loopy for about the rest of the day. *shrug* It at least amused me.

There are going to be needles either way. One of the advantages of being put completely under is you only have to deal with one needle, the one that puts you under. If you are awake under the gas, you actually have to deal with more needles.

I went with going totally under and don't regret it for a second.
But that's because I'm almost immune to the gas....
