I'm a firm believer in being prepared. Chalk it up to years of Girl Scouts, a mother who carries everything short of the kitchen sink in her purse, and a father who must have been the inspiration for Macgyver. I thought you meant The Spin Doctors the band! Well, when graduate school doesn't pan out for me, I'm going to join a rock band and go on a cross country tour. I'll bring you along as one of my merch girls! Or you could even play the electric cello :)

i think you'd get more hand outs as a minstrel or troubador... these days, however, we just call them bum musicians.
