So I just told dad that he can't come to my graduation at school because he's not welcome there. My friends will go hysterical-hen and my teacher will go absolutely ballistic. Okay not ballistic but she will not be very welcoming. I said that I don't want that on my graduation day and therefore I had hoped on going eating with him afterwards

No it's not that. I haven't outed myself to him yet, so it's not that.

It's a long story involving an ugly divorce, then an assault against my mom. Now my friends now, and my semi-friends know (not all the details though) and my teacher knows and thus he is not welcome by any chance.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that hon, my friend Ice is gay as well and his dad really hasn't gotten over the fact that he's gay, though he's really smart and I think you are too. Some people are just so shallow. You have my support :D

Thanks, honey, that means a lot. ^^ He's said sometime that "I will love you as my son whether you are hetero- or homosexual." How the heck am I supposed to take that? That he won't love my other sides? I'm so confused!
