This is my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. Although I started the list on 17-01-06 I actually only managed to reach 101 items on the list on 01-04-06 so to celebrate this I sorted it out into categories and reposted it. You can see the original post
here.

Here’s the list:
Organisation
1. Finish list of 101 things to do in 1001 days (01-04-06: Finally I have a complete list!)
12. Tidy my room and clear out the clutter
13. Sort through my clothes, throw out any I won’t wear again that don’t have sentimental value
16. Do all coursework/reading/lesson plans etc in good time - don’t leave it all till the last minute
28. Vacuum my room at least once every 2 weeks for 4 months (currently I forget and my mum ends up doing it)
29. Go through old computer backups, save any files I want to my hard drive and throw out old backups
30. After doing the above backup entire computer on a new set of CD ROMs
31. Go through old video tapes and write cards to show what programs are on them, throw out any that don’t work
33. Sort out my makeup and jewellery, throw out/give away any makeup I will never use
49. Sort through bath products, throw out/giveaway those I won’t use (09-04-06)
60. Take all those old clothes that have been sitting in bags in my wardrobe for about 2 years to the charity shop
68. Get all the trousers I own which are too long shortened so I can actually wear them (I once bought a pair intending to do this, never got round to it and now they are so out of fashion I will never wear them!)
69. Sort through all the music on my computer, delete any I never listen too and make some CD's of my favourite tracks for the car
74. Download all the songs I have been wanting to own for years (complete when I have downloaded 100) (24-02-06: Finally I've completed this one! Now I just need to sort them out and make some decent playlists)
89. Sort out all my old University work and file it properly so I know how many files (if any) I need to buy for next year.
90. Sort out all the music I own into flute and piano music and find somewhere to keep it (20-09-07)
99. List all the numbers in my mobile phone somewhere in case something happens to my phone (23-07-06)
Life
3. Pass the PGCE (teacher training course) (06-07-07: Yay! I passed!)
15. Get a job as a teacher
23. Go out with someone even if I don’t think I will want to go on a second date (I think this about everyone at the moment so I don’t give them a chance and really need to get over it) (24-06-06: Well I went on a date with some guy called Paul that works with my friend Mike. What a disaster, he was very strange. Now I know why I never give guys a chance!
37. Make five new friends (24-04-07: Since starting there are at least 5 people who I have met and see or contact fairly often so I'm crossing this one off even if they don't stay friends for life, although hopefully they will!)
39. Do some voluntary work
61. Try to be on time for work/lectures/appointments more often (I realise this is a bit vague but I’m almost always late at the moment so anything would be an improvement!) (31-10-06: I'm doing really quite well with this one at the moment. I'm usually on time for college and school, I think it's because I'm more motivated now I'm finally training to be a teacher)
64. Write at least one complaint letter when I say I will
81. Pass my NQT year
94. Live in London at some point
95. Get back in touch with someone I've lost contact with (18-07-07: Thanks to Facebook I managed this one!)
Learning
2. Learn to read Egyptian hieroglyphs
14. Start learning to play the piano again and keep practising (17-02-06: My parents bought a new piano that sounds much better than the old one. I plan to start practising just as soon as I sort some music out.)
27. Get Adobe Photoshop and learn how to use it (30-06-06: Having made 100 icons for an icon challenge I think I'm now familiar with many of the tools in Photoshop and consider that I can use it competently)
42. Learn sign language (22-09-07: Hopefully I'll be starting a course on Monday so I should be making a start on this one!)
45. Start doing archery again
59. Learn how to make animated icons (05-03-06: I'm crossing this one off because I can do basic animation and also twinkling stars which was my goal)
87. Learn to juggle with three balls (at least to 200 consistently) and with two balls in one hand (at least to 50 each hand) (30-07-07: I can juggle! I've always wanted to be able to juggle.)
Creative
4. Finish the fanfics I have started (01-04-06: Have written a couple more chapters on one of them)
5. Finish my novel or at least make significant progress
54. Start playing my flute regularly again
72. Finish my short stories series
82. Take part in an icon challenge contest (30-06-06: Finished my icon challenge! You can see the finished products here.)
85. Do some sort of creative project and make something I actually like
86. Design and draw a piece of art that I actually like enough to show to other people
91. Make a sock puppet
100. Beta read at least 20 stories (or chapters depending on length) (30-06-06: Completed 17 so far)
Health
17. Try a yoga class (18-01-06: Went to a yoga class and will definitely be going again!)
18. Do one form of structured exercise a week e.g. yoga/aerobics class (30-10-06: This is going badly, I haven't done any for months and I'm so unfit. I really need to get started again.)
19. Start going swimming again (28-07-07: I swam a lot on holiday, sadly I don't think that counts, but it was the first time I've swam in a couple of years and I was pleased to find I can still swim almost as well as I used to be able to)
36. Take a healthy lunch to work at least 3 times each week (from now until I finish for the summer and go back to college) (21-07-06: I actually did better thsn expected with this one. It trailed off a bit towards the end of term but I was amazed I managed to keep it up for as long as I did!)
48. Skip at least 3 times a week for 2 months
76. Go to a pilates class (26-05-07: Started a six week pilates course, really enjoyed the first lesson!)
98. Keep a food diary of everything I eat for a month (Started 30-03-06, finished 30-04-06)
Beauty
20. Get my hair highlighted
21. Get my hair cut in a different style (20-01-06: Got my haircut in a new style, absolutely love it!)
22. Get a spray tan
32. Get a massage (11-07-07)
34. Get my hair cut at least 4 times a year (at the moment I tend to keep putting it off/forgetting about it and only have it cut twice a year) (I managed this in 2006, time for a new count for 2007! 10-07-07: Had my hair cut three times so far this year.)
35. Change my contact lenses at least every 3 weeks (Currently I always forget how long I've worn them for and so don't change them often enough) (22-09-07: I've changed to fortnightly lenses now so this goal has changed slightly!)
58. Buy a mini trampoline and start using it (05-08-06: Why buy a mini one when you can buy a big one? I've bought a big trampoline and set it up in the garden. It's so much fun!)
70. Have a day where I pamper myself, including trying new hairstyles, using my footspa and trying new makeup.
92. Get my eyebrows plucked professionally (22-02-06)
Activities and Travel
9. Go abroad - anywhere (28-07-07: I've just been to Majorca for a week!)
24. Visit a science museum
25. Visit a history museum (04-06-06: During my trip to London I visited the British Museum. See pictures here!)
26. Go to London (02-06-06: Went to London for the weekend!)
55. Go horse riding

Purchases
6. Buy a freeview box (30-12-06)
7. Buy Harry Potter books 1 and 2 in hardback
8. Buy the Chronicles of Narnia (03-04-06)
50. Buy my favourite Enid Blyton books (e.g. Mallory Towers)
57. Buy some pretty underwear
63. Buy something fairly useless and expensive just because I like it and think it’s pretty (20-04-06: Bought a Harry Potter Time Turner, it cost me £50 but it's very pretty)
88. Buy the music "Fur Elise" (28-08-06)
Food and Drink
44. Buy some herb plants, look after them and use the herbs (15-07-06: I bought and planted seeds for this one instead of buying the plants ready grown. I grew chives, basil and parsley. I used the chives in salad and the basil and parsley in soup and they were all very nice!)
46. Play the Chinese lottery (for an explanation of this go here)
65. Get a chocolate fountain and eat things covered in chocolate (29-01-06: I went to my Grandad's 90th birthday party and my Uncle, who is a chef, did a huge buffet, complete with chocolate fountain. I had no idea he had one or that he was going to bring it, but it was great because not only did I get to use one but I also got to cross something unexpected off my list!)
71. Eat a deep fried Mars bar
73. Drink Rose wine (05-08-06: I had some Rose wine at my friend's house and I've finally found a wine I like. I'm not keen on white and I hate red, but Rose is really nice!)
75. Eat cheese fondue
79. Make 10 6 dishes from scratch including: lasagne, chicken burger and chips, (21-02-06) pancakes, squash bread and tomato beans and pizza.(25-02-06) (20-02-06: Tomato soup, 05-04-06: Stuffed tomatoes, 10-04-07: Carbonara)
80. Make 10 8 starters, 10 7 main courses and 10 6 desserts I've never made before. (20-02-06: Made tomato soup from scratch, 21-02-06: Mississippi mud cake, 25-02-06: Blueberry frozen yogurt, 05-04-06: Fish goujons, stuffed tomatoes and icy fruit blizzard, 21-04-06: Vanilla biscuits, 14-09-06: Wholemeal vegetable pizza, 10-04-07: Carbonara)
83. Start a personal cookbook of recipes that I like and will use (Started 21-04-06, will cross this off when I have copied up all the recipes I've collected so far)
96. Cook a meal for my mum (at least 2 courses) (05-04-06)
Just Because I Want To
10. Read all 7 Harry Potter books again (29-07-07: I'm starting this one again because te 7th is out and I hadn't read the previous 6 again, I'm just going to read the whole series through at some point)
11. Sell something on e-bay (17-08-06)
38. Read all unread books on my bookshelf (and finish off those I’ve half read!) I decided I best make a list so I know how I'm doing with this one. I have got to finish reading: Inkspell, Inkheart, Mansfield Park, The Other Side of the Dale, Head Over Heels In the Dales, A Walk in the Woods, The Remains of the Day, A Kingston Lacey Childhood, Yes Man, Eats, Shoots and Leaves. (22-09-07)
40. Watch a sunrise and/or sunset
41. Wear my pink dress at least once
43. Buy a bottle of ink and use my quill
47. Fill one or more shoeboxes for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal (27-11-06: I handed in my boxes today, I managed to fill three so I'm very happy!)
51. Read all the Jennings books (Progress so far: 7/21)
52. Finish playing Baldur’s Gate (I started playing this when I was about 16 and have since gone through many phrases of playing it, then stopping, then months later restarting from the beginning. Only once have I actually made it to Baldur’s Gate and that was about 2 years ago, I must finish it if only to see for myself how the game ends)
53. Send a secret to

62. Enter a competition of some sort
77. Find the rules for the developing countries game(30-05-07: Found them!)
78. Complete the Legacy Challenge on The Sims 2
84. Go to a gay club (I'm not gay I just always wanted to go to one) (02-07-06: Went to a gay club in Blackpool and had a really great night!)
93. Write a letter to an author whose books I enjoy
97. Obtain 20 18 freebies (So far I've received Sense and Sensibility on DVD and some audio books from the Famous Five series)
101. Decide whether I need to write a new list and if I do get one written
I have until 14th October 2008 to complete everything, by which time I’ll be 24 and will hopefully have a teaching job somewhere. Time to get started!
