Warning! Serious spoilers, if you haven't read the 7th book or watched the 5th film and don't want to know about them please don't read under the cut!

As I read the book the terrible knowledge sat in my mind: whether Harry lived or died, he would be gone )

About the book...I happen to disagree about Hedwig. There must have been another way; even setting her free would have been less cruel. Poor thing didn't even get to procreate.
I didn't notice the Firebolt thing until you pointed it out...
About Fred--I think she knows how much us fangirls overanalyze and dissect her work; there was nothing else shocking enough to surprise us. Didn't we already know Snape was good? And that Lupin had to die, finish off the Marauders? That Harry was a Horcrux (OK, you didn't agree, but lots of people did.) So she probably thought "Here's a little something to remind you WHO THE FUCK IS THE CREATOR, BITCHES" Or somethiing of the sort. >_>
As for The Lovely Thing You Sent Me, I somehow love the meeting. Poor Harry on all fours. That's as far as I've gotten, though; please remember I'm working on borrowed computers.
