Avatar was visually amazing. It was worth seeing on the big screen, especially in 3D. The story was not so great (though it would have been lots better if they'd just given us some character and relationship development). I think it was still worth seeing once, though. The effects won't be the same on DVD.

Sherlock Holmes was definitely more fun. :-)

the trailers lied to me! The movie was much more holmesque than I expected. Loved it!
