I've only been able to watch Veritas one time through. This is partly due to having very limited free-time this week (covering for my partner who is taking her vacation now), and partly my own reluctance to experience again what seems likely to be the end of my favorite couple on the show. The episode was sad but it was also unsatisfying on a couple of different levels.

They really seemed to try and put a LOT into one episode again. I liked parts of it a lot, but other parts left me very torn and sad.

I like your philosophic, slightly nostalgic, tinged with sadness yet still like a proud parent remembering all the good times reminiscing. I'm appreciating all those who see the good and the bad and still love this show, comfortable in the thought that this show has provoked all the colours of the emotional spectrum and for good or for bad we've enjoyed the ride and shall continue to do so until that final curtain call.

I read your previous post and I am wondering who made the post that pissed you off so much. Did anyone leave any comments trying to start a well thought out discusion?

I think I liked this episode as a season finale, which I'm sure it was meant to be. Otherwise it means a bunch of episodes where we all know that Lana is lying around, in pain and being victimized on a whole new level of "ew". If the shoe was on the other foot, and this had happened to Chloe, can you imagine the outroar?

It wasn't an LJ post, but a review on a SV-related website. I believe the person did also post the same review in her LJ, but I don't have her friended, and would never go there just to argue with her in her own LJ.

Wow. I hadn't even thought about that, but you're right. There would be an uprising or K-Site if it were Chloe that was left suffering.
