so I was changing ink in a printer today and the "empty" magenta cartridge decided to leak all over in my hands. They are now stained half pink LOL -

My stupid back hurt so bad last night I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I am still going to PT for that dang TS pull and I saw a MT for the first time, so not sure if that aggravated it or what. Just finished a bird training video. I think I can teach Lilli and Toby to lay on their backs. Kiwi is very smart (she can open anything LOL) so I think I could teach her one of the card tricks and/or maybe to play fetch. I think Toby would just enjoy fetch, so might try with him too. No egg but her liver is like 80% bigger than it should be. Starting her on anti while we wait for the BW to come back to confirm WHY it is so enlarged. He also said because everything is so swollen that it *could* be that a yoke broke and that is actually the birdie equivalent of her uterus that we are seeing, but he thinks it's more probable that ( Read more... ) -

So, I put in a load of laundry and came back upstairs. Went down to toss everything in the dryer and stepped into like 1/2 inch of water! Something is wrong with the washer (yes, my brand new one). I think they messed the hose connection up. I called customer service and was told I would first have to determine there was not a backup in the drain ( Read more... ) -

Kiwi laid 2 more eggs. 1 is perfectly whole and intact. The other is only about 1/4 of the shell. I have look everywhere and do not see the rest of the shell. I spoke with my vet and he said I have to totally separate Kiwi and Toby. He doesn’t even want them to be able to see each other. Been reading half the night but I am not sure what to do. Kiwi has started regurgitating, at least I believe it's her- she is doing it to Toby but it seems like she is feeding him. Kiwi seems find but talk about NO maternal instinct! She didn’t stay with it, or have it in her cage in one of her blankeys or anything. I found it on the floor this morning. Looks like she had it last night sitting on the perch by my chair. I heard her making noises I thought were pain, but I kept asking her what was wrong and looking over at her ( Read more... )
