Funeral

Sad news today guys. Nalini's Uncle has just passed away in Fiji. She is really tore up about it and wishes she had gone to visit him earlier when he was still alive. She wants to be with the family in Fiji at this time to morn with them. Since this is short notice, and would probably cost us a prety penny to go there, and not to mention hard

I'm sorry to hear the news, that's rough. Nothing worse than regrets, and it sounds like Nalini has a big one about not visiting her uncle. That stinks. From the comment you left on my LJ, it sounds like you are going to Fiji for the funeral. Is that for sure? Maybe she could go by herself, and you could stay behind with Jay. That would be less expensive, and it wouldn't upset Jay's schooling. Perhaps that would be a decent compromise?

Anyway, hope she feels better soon and that things get back on the right track. It just doesn't stop out there, does it? Seems like there's a "family emergency" every week! Crazy, but I guess it makes life interesting. *sigh*
