Well. Its been awhile since I said hello to SPK and or Squeal via Live Journal, I figured that I would a least post a "hello" considering I received a friendly "nudge" to write, and my account is once again acessible, and cool, I can do this from work, which ironically is where I have the most time on my hands when compared to my home life. Thanks for the welcome back. Although, I can't really promise to write something everyday, I do plan to make entries more often as long as access remaines.

YAY!!! The nudge worked, fantastic. Good to hear from you, man! Glad you were able to get on here and say a little something.

So I may take a leap of faith and try to gain employment elsewhere.
Just to clarify, you're talking about employment outside the military and/or govt, correct? I wasn't sure if you meant elsewhere as in civilian operations or elsewhere as in another part of the country. Or both, for that matter! Last time we spoke on the phone, it sounded like you wanted to stay in the area to give Jay some stability. I was wondering if that's changed or anything.

I'm now technically a full fledged vetern of the United States Airforce. Huh.
Is that something recent? Is that based on total time spent in the service, combat time, something else? Anyway, I hope you do get to stick around this summer! While those camel spiders are just barrels of fun, I'm sure you'd rather see your wife in your sleeping quarters instead of them. :P

I plan to stay in Cali, although jobs are tough, and houseing is even tougher. I plan to go civilian, unless a great opportunity appears on the military side. We'll see. I would be nice to not deploy anymore.

yes, I am offically a veteran. Which basically means a certificate and a few benefits. No purple heart. Oh well. :)

Hey Nate! I received a few nudges myself and have posted, so check it out. I'm not surprised you're feeling the need for change. I know you haven't been happy with the way some things have been going over the past many months (and years?). Keep us posted on here or by phone. I always appreciate talking with you man :D
