The true gravity of the financial crisis (stolen from Evil Hope)

Lehman Brothers Holdings has gone bankrupt. Here is a firm that was founded in 1850. It survived the Civil War and the Great Depression. It did not survive the current breakdown. Anyone who thinks this crisis is some minor affair is not paying attention.

If "little people" withdraw all their money, it won't really hurt them. It's the multi-millionaires+ and foreign investors that will make or break the system, unfortunately.
