I Woke Up!
I went to sleep around midnight, woke up around eight. That may sound like nothing much, but it's the first really good, sensible night's sleep I've had in weeks. If not months.
Sleeping in the dark - an underrated pleasure. -

Wooh. Crashed a bit there. Had a really heavy headcold with the fever and the coughing and the raw throat and the semi-comatose, was in no mood to describe it in any detail.

Woke up again at 7:30, dammit. So I'm going to bed at 10:00pm tonight. If you burn the candle at both ends you make a greasy puddle on the floor. Or at least feel like one.

I Have Been In Solitary For A Week Now
Not prison, but a cottage in the country. My mother's house - but she's away. I'm here for maintenance and care-taking again. Today I repaired an electrical fault that had caused a heater to spit sparks and die.
