OOCly, I think I mentioned to Suzaku once that the similarities between the characters are kind of hilarious. I-I mean, Gino is a noble, he's the fourth son of this VERY WELL-KNOWN noble family (lol his family lol), ran away from home to join the military, now has this high-ranking position, [sort of uh boiling rocks Suzaku at one point IT WAS HIS FAULT] ... there's more, I think. It was ... pretty special.

But yeah, keywords are very appropriate here. Ty Lee loev Gino, for pretty much the same reasons Gino likes Ty Lee. He has an established connection with the Geass cast which gives Ty Lee more stuff to talk about due to the Geass cast and the Avacast meshing a lot in camp, the fondness of physical contact is always a way to score insta-points with Ty Lee, and plus there's the whole "really cute" thing, which makes it even better (I'm honestly astonished that Ty Lee hasn't shamelessly flirted more than she has thusfar, though maybe it's because she's more inclined to be flirty with people she knows she'll get funny reactions out of ( ... )

HAHAHA man I am just happy he survived. But he also was in a picture on Kallen's corkboard! Tianzi and Villetta were in it as well. Despite the HILARIOUS insinuation that Gino went to China, I think that was just ... a party picture, especially since he's still in his Rounds outfit. Anyway, Gino loves Britannia. I really cannot see Gino leaving Britannia forever - he only really defected towards the end of the series because Britannia became a Britannia that was so warped from the country he loved, and there was no real way for him to change that aside from fighting against it. Which is why I sometimes forget that, oh yeah, Gino was fighting under Schneizel. That struck me as less "I FIGHT FOR UUUU, SCHNEIZELLLLLL" and more "This isn't the country I loved, and I want to do what I can to fix that." Uh, tangent!ANYWAY, I figure he would have no problem with Cornelia or Nunnally as Empress and would very happily serve under them again as a Rounds. Robert is actually a fairly good cook. He doesn't sleep much, so he does a lot of random things in the early morning hours, which includes reading through cookbooks and maybe sneaking into the kitchens in the dorms if he can get away with it, without being caught by anyone. He even goes as far as to switch the dust jacket on the book he's going through with another. It's not something he's interested in talking about, and if it ever got brought up, he'd give some sort of noncommittal answer.

Hahaha oh man. The worst part is that Code Geass used to be my default answer for this, and ... we can see how that turned out! I think I can safely answer with Gurren Lagann, though. I adore the series and I contemplated apping two or three characters, but at the end of the day, it's not a series I really want to play from because I'd rather play with those characters.

He does have mixed feelings on some things, Euphemia being the big one. It is really damn hard for him to keep up a conversation with her, because he knows what happens in her future, and that puts him on edge around her. The SAZ incident wasn't cool with him, but at the same time ... it's Euphemia. She comes off as being incredibly sweet and caring, and that's the one thing that really disorients him. It's ... mm, a little strange for Gino. When he left, Kallen was a prisoner of war! He's pretty sure he saw her locked up! But then he comes here and she's here and doesn't even remember it, which threw him for a loop. The good thing about Gino is that - he's a very easy-going type. He's not stupid, but he's easy-going. He's got a good separation of the battlefield and everything else and whatnot. So, as long as Kallen isn't ACTIVELY ATTACKING ANYONE, he's cool. And he could pretty much tell from their first thread that she wasn't intending on doing anything of the sort in camp ( ... )

Well, I expected a Macross ending, and I got a Macross ending. I have a feeling I'll enjoy the finale even more when I watch the episodes in a close proximity rather than waiting from one week to week. It was well executed and well paced, and it wrapped up most of the loose ends without leaving a space for plot holes. Everyone made sense in the end.
On the other hand, I wish the writers was bold enough to resolve the love triangle. I know that there's a movie coming up where it may or may not get resolved, but I'm feeling impatient because it feels like I've been watching Frontier for far too long now. This means that I will have to keep on tiptoeing around serious heart business when it comes to Alto, but the finale has given me a decent idea of how to handle his developing character. He's finally moving to be at more peace with himself.

UHM, Geass is the big one. My method of raping is usually going to people that I know have seen/read a canon and whining at them to app. This is totally an awesome method, rite. But also, I like reading what you write about your canons, so I'd be interested in your take on some stuff in Geass, characters, and whatnot, heh.
