I was going to do a first impressions meme when Gino hit 1k, but he's 300 comments away from that and, you know, I'll probably hit that this weekend in the midst of my rapeshifts. juri loev working!! Sakuraba would actually be on this list, but I'm leaving him off due to lol playercest. Suffice it to say, Robert grudgingly likes Sakuraba and occasionally spends some of his mornings with him.

The first one is Roy Mustang. This one is kind of a given, since Roy spent two years before working with Robert and helping him through a lot of his issues. Roy is someone Robert actually respects and ... cares about, yeah.

Second one is the Doctor! Robert loev nonhumans! I went on about this in Robert's last relationship meme.

The third one is River Tam. THE THING WITH RIVER is that she's been in camp before and she's one of Mal's crew, so this works in her favor. But also, it's ... River. He knows that she'll know if he lies, so he doesn't even bother lying to her, wh-which is saying something since Robert is a big fat liar with most people. He doesn't have to keep that pretense up with River, so it's more relaxing for him ( ... )

Rose really likes Robert. While he's not really as .... what's the word I'm looking for here... Not exactly "outgoing" or "mischievous"? But. something like that? idk ENGLISH LANGUAGE WHY DO YOU FAIL ME? as the rest of her close camp friends, she enjoys talking to him, and he's one of the people she's more inclined to chat with whenever she sees them around (read: one of the characters I'm more likely to jump with her ( ... )

Esther is very nice and cute and helpful. 8D 8D 8D I wish I could give a more substantial impression, but mostly, she seems like someone who genuinely has an interest in other people - like when she asked him about that time difference thing, and then remembered to ask again a few days later. She's another one he's keeping an eye out for and would hit her up if he saw her around.

Aaaand reverse then? Esther on Gino? |D

Uhhhmmm. I don't have a really substantial impression yet either, but -- Esther likes Gino and would go out of her way to talk to him because they have a situation in common, and he seems very nice and he listened to her when she was trying to work things out, and he seems very willing and kind and, again, helpful. So yeah, she'd definitely talk to him again!

... oh wow I am so bad at these questions things, I can't think of any others :(

The Pope would stay VERY CLOSE TO Mr. Pedo, and he'd look at balloons and cotton candy... and sort of tug at his sleeve and ask if he could have one. And then Mr. Pedo would buy him things BECAUSE HE'S TOTALLY NICE. And some cotton candy later the Pope would be on an EPIC SUGAR HIGH and start asking incessant annoying questions ranging from "WHAT'S A FAIR LIKE SOUBI-SAN?" to "WHERE DID YOU GROW UP? WAS IT NICE? ACTUAL canon tells us (well, side novels lolo) that Gino's casual fashion sense is ... very special. To be fair, the boy was raised in isolation on a separate estate from his parents, which basically means he didn't get out much if at all. ... so, uh, he wears whatever he thinks looks COOL. And man, orange lenses look SO COOL!!

QUESTION uhhh ... characters you'll never app but have thought of apping at some point?

This is a hard question, because I kind of keep all kinds of apps I've started on my computer just in case I change my mind, or in case I'm stumped on an app I've already started. This actually happened this past round - I started Michel's app and got the canon done but the actual content was not happening.

So I switched to another app, got well into it when I realized it was a similar character type, and then I... switched back to Michel and wrote his app in like an hour or two, using some of the jokes I had come up with in the other app.

So... really the only person I can tell you I had thought about apping but never would is Raquel from Wild Arms 4, still. Hahah. I am sure there are others but none are coming to me right now. :( OH before we had Kallen, I had contemplated apping her very seriously but I could never write it and resigned myself to that. XD

How difficult is it for you to not talk about something you're planning to app from? XD

It's ... very difficult. Okay, keeping my mouth shut about the fact that I was watching R2 week by week? So hard. I think I mentioned it here and there (I know I commented on at least one of Suzaku's LOL R2 journal posts), and I couldn't keep my mouth shut IRL (like, some AX people knew about my GIANT LOVE AFFAIR WITH GEASS, my roommates knew, etc). And that was just for Gino's.

Is there a character type you haven't played yet that you'd like to at some point?
