I saw it! I was not going to bother dealing with the crowds on opening weekend, but lyra_sena and her man were going so I ended up tagging along

I thought the movie was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it, but I'm not fannish about it in any way.

Natasha and Hawkeye:

God knows when I'll see it, but YEAH. It's all about Loki and Hiddleston and at least for his part, I think you'll really enjoy Thor...and it's also really, really pretty.

Is there fic about Loki getting his hair cut? I would watch that. His hair is *hideous* sigh.

There were was a lot of off hand commentary when I started dipping my toe into Thor fic about Loki's hair. Taming natural curl to make him more...Loki-ish. It was a long time until I saw what Tom's actual hair was like, but yeah, it's murder.

What makes this so much funnier is that in mythology, it's Loki that cuts off Sif's hair. There needs to be a reciprocal story in this 'verse (or maybe there was, and I've just glutted out on it).

[Frankly, at this point, I think the fandom just tipped over to Too Large for me to deal with. I tend to be wary of runaway trains even if I'm board with what they're selling. Or something.]

Yeah, I doubt I will be particularly fannish about Thor, and while I definitely see the Thor/Loki, it doesn't really do much for me. I'm just glad to know that other people think his hair is as awful as I do.

(Tom's real hair just makes it That Much Worse, omg.)
