Are you all okay? How did you weather the storm?

It's still incredibly windy here in Brooklyn, and there were apparently two deaths in my neighborhood from a falling tree this morning, but we never lost power or Internet--never have I been so grateful to live in a neighborhood with buried power lines.

We had a little water in the house on the most exposed part during the worst of it but we never lost power or internet, so I call that a win.

Hey, glad all is well with you & that you have power & Internet! I've moved uptown for the time being, since I highly doubt my apartment will have power back any time this week.

HA. I was just about to reply to this when the power went out completely! Luckily it came back a couple of hours later. I'm crossing my fingers that you get power back to you sometime soon(ish).

I'm also kind of envying you the ability to do your job from wherever you are. My office is closed today, but I don't know what it's going to be like tomorrow, and right now the lines for express buses from my neighborhood are literally blocks long. OY.
