It's part of a gun. The only part that is not normally legally obtainable in California. In about 15 minutes with other parts which you can legally buy in California it can turn into this:
In June 2001, the California Supreme Court handed down its decision in Harrott v. County of Kings (25 P.3d 649 (Cal. 2001) - and commonly called Harrott v. Kings County). This decision clarified and superceded key elements of both the prior Kasler decision and the Roberti-Roos AWCA law, as they pertain to AR15 and AK “series” weapons

Personally, I've always felt that all countries should either: Ban all guns (even for the police - like England does) or Allow all well-built guns (those pieces of junk that misfire all the time are awful)
That said, we are supposed to be a free country, so allowing all well-built guns seems like the only applicable choice.
This idea of banning certain guns doesn't make anyone safer. If someone is going to break the law by killing someone, you think they care about a gun law? Please.
I do think that everyone should take gun safety classes from a young age. Accidental shootings are a problem that could easily be prevented by a little bit of common sense. Of course, I also think people that own swords should take sword safety classes, and that everyone should take knife safety classes. There are morons out there that carry knives pointing out while they round corners. ::Shiver::

Police here (the UK) carry guns. Just not as often as in the states... I can give more details if you like. Japan is a better example of more restrictive gun policy for police than the US or the UK- though they also have police that carry guns and armed quick response units just in case.
This idea of banning certain guns doesn't make anyone safer. If someone is going to break the law by killing someone, you think they care about a gun law? Please.Your argument does not follow. While you are totally correct that criminals don't care about gun law (almost by definition), that does not mean that bans don't make people safer

The nice thing about these lowers is that they are non-cal lowers meaning the magwells open for detachable magazines. There are .308 lowers on the way. They should be here in a few days and deposits are being accepted right now, however they won't disclose how much the end price is. So if they decided to charge way too much, you either pay up, or lose your $120.00 deposit. Unfortunately it seems very true that they're getting the only shipment.
