Kiku allowed himself to be drag by the excited Chinese man. He supposed he owed him that privilege especially after so long...
They continued towards their destination with Yao dragging him and Kiku just going along. Once they were there, he pulled himself discretely from Yao's grip, turning towards the pony-tailed Asian as they stood in front of the Shopping center.
"Hm...I want to get some material for the costume, and then maybe some candy for the kids - that's how it's done here right aru? And then I've been wanting to make an altar in my room, because I've been hearing from other people that spirits come back to Earth during this time aru" he said while browsing the aisle.

Who could it be knocking at this hour?
Standing up, he fixed his appearance, running a hand through his hair to fix it. Once he deemed himself decent, he walked towards the door.
Let's say he was not expecting Yao out of all people to be standing outside his dorm room.
"Yao-san -!" He began to say but stopped when Yao asked his question.
Shopping? Did he really want to go shopping Yao? He was not emotionally ready for this sort of thing yet!
However, it would rather be impolite to refuse an old friend even if Kiku were to deny it.
He sighed internally, before giving Yao an impassive face.
"Alright, Yao-san. After all, it would be nice to go shop with you for once." Kiku replied, his voice rather stiff.

"What would you be getting, Yao-san?"
